What you bring

  • Class B driving licence for at least 2 years, probationary period completed (BE / C1 / C / CE are a plus).
  • Driving experience and routine on the road – the German road traffic rules (StVO) are mandatory on every trip.
  • Reliability and careful handling of other people’s property – you treat every car like your own.
  • Willingness to travel: trips run across Germany, partly into the EU – sometimes urgent, sometimes over several days.
  • A smartphone for the handover report and coordination. German is enough; English or Arabic are a bonus.

What you should know beforehand

  • Trips follow our customers’ demand – predictability helps, but is not always possible to plan.
  • Documentation duty: recording the vehicle’s condition by photo and report is part of every trip.
  • On longer routes an overnight stay or a return by train/public transport may come up.
  • Care is a basic requirement – not a bonus. We stand by our name on every transport.

Do I need my own car?
No. You transport our customers’ vehicles. We arrange the return connection together.
Which driving licence do I need?
At least class B, held for at least 2 years and with the probationary period completed. You also need driving experience. Further classes (BE / C1 / C / CE) are a plus, but not a must.
When will you get back to me after applying?
We get back to you personally, usually within a few days – Mon–Fri 07–18.
Are my uploaded documents secure?
Yes. Your driving-licence scan is transmitted encrypted, stored securely and deleted once the procedure is complete. Details are in the privacy policy.
How am I paid and employed?
You receive €15 per hour. We’re flexible on the model: mini-job, part-time or full-time are possible, depending on demand and workload. What suits you we clarify in the introductory talk, before your first trip starts.
Are expenses / travel costs reimbursed?
Yes. Expenses, travel costs and any overnight stay are agreed individually before each trip, depending on distance and duration. So you know before departure what is covered – no surprises afterwards.

What exactly does KG-Autotransfer do?
KG-Autotransfer transports vehicles across Germany and, on request, Europe-wide – on their own wheels or by trailer. Whether roadworthy, deregistered or not roadworthy: we pick up your car and deliver it safely to its destination. Every vehicle transport is fully insured and documented at pickup and delivery with a handover report including photos. Our focus is on car dealerships, traders as well as leasing and fleet companies; private transports we handle on request. Do you transport across all of Germany?
Yes, nationwide – from Flensburg down to the Allgäu we pick up your vehicle and deliver it anywhere in Germany. Nationwide transport is our core business: you give us the pickup and delivery address, we take care of the rest. Beyond Germany, we also handle Europe-wide vehicle transports on request.
What does “transport on its own wheels” mean?
With transport on its own wheels, one of our drivers drives your vehicle from A to B – on the road rather than on a trailer. For roadworthy cars this is the fastest and most economical option and keeps your transport costs low. For deregistered vehicles we use red transfer plates or short-term plates so everything stays legal on the road. Our drivers always comply with German road traffic regulations – no risks, no tricks.
What does “transport by trailer” mean?
With trailer transport we load your vehicle and bring it to its destination without it being driven itself. This option is ideal for non-roadworthy, deregistered or particularly high-value cars. Important to know: per transport we carry a maximum of 1 vehicle up to 3.5 t; heavier vehicles we clarify individually. Here too we document the condition in the handover report with photos – at pickup and at delivery.
Can you also transport non-roadworthy vehicles?
Yes. Non-roadworthy or deregistered vehicles we transport by trailer – a maximum of 1 vehicle up to 3.5 t per trip. Just let us know beforehand what condition the car is in, and we’ll plan the transport accordingly. We record the condition at pickup and delivery in the handover report with photos, so everything stays transparent.
Do you also transport deregistered cars?
Sure, we transport deregistered cars regularly. On their own wheels we use red transfer plates or short-term plates for that – so the vehicle is legally on the road. Alternatively we carry the car by trailer, whatever suits your case. Which option makes sense for your vehicle transport we clarify with you in advance.
What are short-term plates and do you take care of them?
Short-term plates allow deregistered vehicles to be moved legally on the road – important when a deregistered car is to be transported on its own wheels. Whether this is needed for your vehicle transport we clarify with you in advance, along with how we organise it. So you don’t have to work through the formalities alone – we tell you clearly what’s required.
How does a transport work step by step?

That depends on the route and availability, so there’s no blanket answer. With our 5 flexibly deployed drivers we’re fast and can also take on short-notice jobs. What does a transport cost?
Transport costs depend on three factors: the route, the condition of your vehicle and the chosen option, i.e. transport on its own wheels or by trailer. There are therefore no fixed flat rates; every vehicle transport is calculated individually. When it’s particularly urgent, a surcharge of 100 % on the standard price applies for the express service. How do I get a quote?
Easiest via the quote calculator on our site: you enter start, destination and your vehicle data and immediately receive a concrete offer for your vehicle transport. This works nationwide, whether you want to have a single vehicle transported or, as a dealership, have regular demand. If you prefer a direct line, you can alternatively reach us via WhatsApp or phone.
Is the quote binding or non-binding?
Your quote via the calculator is non-binding and free. You receive a concrete price for your vehicle transport but take on no obligation whatsoever. Decide at your leisure whether to book; only when you confirm do we book your preferred date for pickup and delivery.
Are there volume discounts for regular orders?
Yes. For car dealerships, traders and fleet companies with recurring transport demand we find fair and plannable terms. With ongoing cooperation you also have a fixed point of contact and can place orders at short notice. Just talk to us about a framework agreement or a fixed cooperation, and we’ll look together at what suits your fleet best.
Do you charge VAT?
Yes. All prices are net prices plus 19 % VAT, and on your invoice we show the VAT separately. For you as a business this is an advantage: as an input-tax-deductible dealership, trader or fleet operator you reclaim the VAT in full. Effectively, then, you pay the net price for your vehicle transport.
How can I pay?
We clarify the payment details directly with your quote, so everything is transparent from the start. With ongoing B2B cooperation, for example with dealerships, traders or fleet companies, invoicing on account is also possible. That keeps the vehicle transport straightforward on the accounting side too.

Insurance & safety

Are the vehicles insured during transport?
Yes, every vehicle transport with us is fully insured, without exception. The cover applies continuously from pickup to handover at the destination, whether your vehicle is transported on its own wheels or by trailer. This applies nationwide for every job, from a single vehicle to regular transport for a dealership, trader or fleet. What happens if damage does occur after all?
Then the fully comprehensive insurance kicks in, which with us covers every vehicle transport. Because we document your vehicle’s condition in the handover report seamlessly, with photos at pickup and delivery, it’s immediately clear in any case what happened and when. The settlement then runs cleanly and transparently, without back and forth. Honestly, it has never happened so far: over 400 transports, zero damage to a vehicle.
How many damages have you had so far?
Zero. Across over 400 vehicle transports we have not had a single damage to a vehicle so far. There was one breakdown once, a burst tyre on the motorway – the car was towed but remained undamaged, and no insurance claim was needed. What is the handover report?
The handover report is a tamper-proof PDF document with which we record your vehicle’s condition at every transport – once at pickup, once at delivery. It contains photos and a precise condition description, is saved and then sent to you. That gives you full transparency during transport and shows you in black and white what condition your vehicle was taken over and delivered in.
Do I get photos of the vehicle condition?
Yes, always. Photos are a firm part of our handover report and are taken twice with every vehicle transport: at pickup and at delivery. You receive the complete report including photos by email, so your car’s condition is cleanly documented before and after transport.
How do you ensure my car is treated with care?
Our drivers come from hands-on practice and know their way around modern vehicles, including EVs and hybrids. We treat every vehicle carefully during transport, technically and with care, and German road traffic regulations are mandatory on every trip. On top comes the handover report: your car’s condition is recorded with photos at pickup and delivery, so nothing is left to chance. Vehicles & limitations

Which vehicle types do you transport?
We transport cars, vans and comparable vehicles, nationwide and, on request, Europe-wide. Roadworthy cars our driver drives on their own wheels during transport; non-roadworthy, deregistered or particularly high-value vehicles we transport by trailer with a maximum of 1 vehicle up to 3.5 t. Deregistered cars can alternatively be transported with short-term plates or red transfer plates. Is your vehicle a special case? Just ask briefly, and we’ll tell you directly what’s possible.
Is there a weight limit for trailer transport?
Yes, per trailer transport we carry a maximum of 1 vehicle up to 3.5 t. This limit applies to every trailer vehicle transport, whether within your city or right across Germany. If your vehicle is heavier, that’s not an automatic no: such cases we clarify individually with you.
Can you transport several vehicles at once?
By trailer it’s one vehicle per trip. If you want to have several vehicles transported, for example as a dealership, trader or for your fleet, we organise the transports accordingly and schedule the trips cleanly. With our five flexibly deployed drivers we reliably handle several vehicle transports too. For larger orders, just talk to us directly.
Do you also transport high-value or rare vehicles?
Yes, gladly. Especially with high-value or rare vehicles our trailer transport plays to its strength: your car doesn’t cover the route on its own wheels but secured on the trailer. Added to that are the seamless documentation in the handover report with photos at pickup and delivery as well as fully comprehensive cover on every trip. Across over 400 transports we haven’t had a single damage so far, and exactly this care your vehicle gets too.
Do you transport electric and hybrid vehicles?
Yes, we transport electric and hybrid vehicles properly, on their own wheels or by trailer. Our drivers come from hands-on practice and know their way around modern vehicles, that applies to the combustion engine just as to the EV. During transport we treat every vehicle carefully, technically and with care, and every transport is fully insured anyway.
Do you clean the vehicle before handover?
Yes. A small interior clean, i.e. vacuuming and wiping surfaces, is included with every transport – so your vehicle arrives not only safely but also clean inside. Especially for dealerships and traders before handover to the customer, a real plus. If you need more, we offer a thorough interior clean as a paid additional service, as well as exterior cleaning and further detailing. Does someone have to be present at pickup and delivery?
